13. Blur the Edges of Gender Roles

Returning to the concept of   "blurring the edges" of gender roles
described @:  Livin4d Deconstructs Gender Role Fallacies http://livin4dtoronto.blogspot.com/2015/09/livin4d-deconstructs-gender-role.html,
Let's examine how this blur will affect society:
As personality attributes are no longer the result of 50/50 gender split, rather they are the result of Oxytocin levels determined by our genes located on Chromosome 3, it is time to start making drastic societal changes to prevent our limited growth potential and restriction by gender.
You can imagine where these  societal these may lead us?? To start your imagination flowing:
-Bathroom changes in malls,
-Training focuses: construction, sewing etc.
-Sexual roles in the bedroom
-Language we teach our children
livin4d understands these "gender role" differences as a spectrum range of variations rather than the above mentioned split division of 50/50 personality parts attributed to designated male and female ideologies.
On this new gender spectrum, there is some overlap male into female roles and some overlap of female into male roles. This overlaping spectrum concept applies to both an individual personality level and to differences among the genders on a societal level.
Of course (with the exception of some physically ambiguous cases) our physical sexual beings on the outside remain easily recognizable. I'm not suggesting we all go out and blur the edges of our bodies!! I am solely dialoguing  about our inner psyches and consequent external parameter restrictions.
"Sex" hormones (supposedly) evolve over time once again blurring the edges of the already blurred edges.
It is important to keep these sub variables in mind when we are examining intra-personal psyche and intraterpersonal interactions. As these hormones decrease or sometimes increase with age, it is important to monitor variables that contribute to evolving change and not stay stuck in the narrow-minded view that it is "because she is a girl," and it is "because he is a boy."
By knowing effects of internal and external variables, we can appropriately adjust for such variables such as sleep, food, mineral supplementation, sex and exercise, as they all have effects on these hormones resulting in personality and mood changes.
It is important to always keep in mind the big picture with internal and external variables that can contribute to personality formation rather than gender differences.
The current baseline assumption of gender roles and effects on personality are simply narrowsighted and wrong. These concepts have intergenerationally been around for quite a while so we actually don't have clear aerial vision as to the fallacy of them because we are too "high" off the ground to see where the gender erections went awry.
We continue to live on the 13th floor believing it is the 14th floor. Nothing wrong with this idea as long as we innately know the 14th floor is really the 13th floor. Let's not only be honest with ourselves but have the courage to deconstruct  intergenerational gender false truths.
I am not suggesting for men to go around wearing dresses and put in makeup tomorrow nor am I suggesting every woman turn into Hilary Clinton. That said if adults want to follow the aforementioned paths, so be it. I am simply suggesting to blur the edges of current narrow minded parameters with the vision of creating a new expanded humanity and interconnection.

12. Gender Roles Part 2: Livin4d Deconstructs Gender Role Fallacies

Gender Roles part 2
Just as Oxytocin levels are independent of gender, it can be speculated that Testosterone, Progesterone and Estrogen may also be independent of gender.
These 3 hormones may be directly associated with DNA and genes on allosomes or independent of the sex chromosomes making them independent of gender as well. This concept creates an interesting twist in that we typically attribute Testosterone levels to men and progesterone and estrogen levels to women.
It may be that Testosterone, estrogen and progesterone levels are directly associated with gender but further research needs to be conducted.
Livin4d poses the question, "Are these 3 hormones a direct association of gender or are they too, like Oxytocin a result of DNA not associated directly with gender?
It is suggested that further studies examine if portions of the 22 allosomes  (non sex chromosomes x,x; x,y) carry activated/expressed genes coding for Testosterone, Estrogen and/or Progesterone.
It is also suggested that further studies examine portions of the X chromosome which both "male" and "female" have in order to understand if the X chromosome performs Testosterone function.
Livin4d speculates that the majority of our "sex differences" determined by supposed XX and Xy gender genes are not at all due to these genes rather due to variations, activations, inactivations  and synergistic blends of activation on all our chromosomes.

11. Gender Roles Part 1: Livin4d Deconstructs Gender Role Fallacies

Oxytocin is both a neurotransmitter and a hormone. By understanding the 3 genetic forms of Oxytocin (AA, AG, GG), not only are we able to recategorize personalities in a new way, but the Oxytocin Variable provides new insight into erroneous gender role attributions.
When we examine Oxytocin as a hormone, we are able to gain new insight into gender roles.  We often erroneously attribute social roles and behavioral norms to gender variations between and among children. These gender role categorizations within children evolve into genderification roles within adults.
- "Oh, boys are more aggressive by nature."
- "Girls cry more than boys. They are more sensitive."
"She's so dainty because of her stature.  Be careful with her."
"He's small and so he's wimpy.  That's why he gets bullied."
"He loves guns. He's a fighter. He'll protect our country."
"She's such a brute. She's actually a bitch. Too bad she's not like other girls with 'softer' demeanor."
I mean we just can't win not that we want it to be a game. One is either too immasculated or too feminine, too masculated or not girly enouhh. . . Blah blah blah.
Research has shown that when children under the age of 2 are dressed as the opposite sex and placed in a room with various toys,  adults will sit them in front of gender typified toys they assume the child to like. This is not to blame the adults in the vicinity as this is how the adults were raised since they were children.
Sex roles are simply conditionally passed down from one generation to the next beginning with the chosen toys dependent on gender preference assumptions.
Consequently, children become familiarized with these gender specified toys which later in life leads to more segregated gender positions and roles. This concept is not to imply that boys don't like trucks and guns and this concept is not to imply that girls don't like barbies and frilly dresses.
The Oxytocin Variable opens up the societal idea for more fluidity and flow along a gender spectrum allowing for pursuit of individual happiness and preference of toys and futuristic roles rather than imposed gender ideologies.
The previously created schism in gender differences manifests in all facets of life. Think of your life and people in your life with respect to how gender roles influence ways of being:
-Sexuality in the bedroom
-Roles of parenting
-Enjoyed hobbies
-Types of social relationships
-Professional careers
-Clothing
-Resentments toward the opposite sex due to gender roles
-Salaries
-Jail and psychiatric institution frequencies
Conditioned gender constructs  contribute to all the above mentioned variables resulting in shaping and sculpting of genderfied personalities and national social functioning based on whether one is a female or male. Livin4d's Oxytocin Variable evolves us humanity into three types, each with overlap into another type.
Of course, there are different levels of "innate" hormones between genders such as Testosterone, Estrogen and Progesterone. I write "innate" in quotes because these hormone variances are debatable too, but I wont go there now.
Some current research attempts to make different levels of Oxytocin a result of gender differences. This is simply not true and narrow-minded to attempt to fit new information into previously constructed gender concepts. We are no longer a 50/50 world. We are 33.33 with a reflect + the < of insight from livin4d.
Remember that Oxytocin is both a hormone and a neurottansmitter. While there may be Oxytocin level variances that result in different levels between genders, this is a secondary result rather than a primary reason as the primary reason is due to the 3 polymorphic alleles of the gene coding for Oxytocin located on Chromosome 3p25.3. Livin4d is not inventing any new wheels. Livin4d connects the pre-existing gap between science and psychology so that the wheels can cross the bridge. The bridge being the DNA double helix that already proves the existence of 3 different personality types.
"Psych"ology . . . Time to evolve into "Personality."
"Personality" meet "Biology."
"Biology meet Personality."
"Let's start livin4d  shall we?"
